MEET THE AUTHOR

Lisa Greenwald is the author of the TBH books, the Friendship List series, the Pink & Green trilogy, and several other novels for tweens and teens. A graduate of the New School’s MFA program in writing for children, she lives in New York City with her husband, daughters, and mini Bernedoodle, Kibbitz.

KENDRA GIVES BACK TO P.S.11X

LITTLE YELLOW LIBRARY

Little Yellow Library is the latest program from the Kendra Scott Foundation, which supports Title I elementary schools by providing access to books through First Book for classrooms and libraries that need them most.

Kendra Scott partnered with the United Federation of Teachers in NYC to present a Little Yellow Library to P.S.11X earlier this year, in addition to schools in Queens and Booklyn.

Lisa was the guest author at our Little Yellow Library launch event in January at P.S.11X Highbridge. She led students in an open discussion and a reading from one of her books. Lisa also returned to P.S.11X for National Reading Day to bring reading to life once again for the students of Highbridge School.

Lisa Greenwald is dedicated to bringing the joy of reading to all ages. She personally chose P.S.11X as the giveback partner for her book launch event at Kendra Scott.
